Bowraville (Bowra) is a small country town on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia and is about 17km inland from Nambucca Heads and approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. |

The NSW Government and the Commonwealth are covering the full cost of cleaning up eligible NSW properties that have been destroyed by bushfires since 1 July 2019.
Both insured and uninsured properties used for residential, small business or primary production purposes are eligible for the clean-up program.

The Inquiry welcomes submissions from bushfire-affected residents, emergency and support personnel, organisations and the general public.

Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment

Grants of up to $15,000 are available for bush fire affected primary producers.
Applications can be made to the Rural Assistance Authority on 1800 678 593 or

Bushfire affected landholders in the North Coast, Northern Tablelands and Hunter regions are urged to report damage to property and infrastructure through the online natural disaster damage survey or by phoning 1800 814 647.
The survey enables DPI to determine the area the natural disaster has impacted and the scale of the event, the severity of the impact, the value of impact to primary production, where and what assistance or resources may be needed.
